By creating an account or using CourseAI, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

The service

CourseAI is an AI-powered tool that generates structured courses — lessons, quizzes, and flashcards — from content you provide (pasted text, uploaded PDFs, or YouTube video transcripts).

Acceptable use

• No illegal content of any kind.
• No personal information of other people without their consent (no doxxing, no unauthorized PII).
• No copyrighted material you do not own or have a license to use. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any content you submit.
• No attempts to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits of the service.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• One account per person.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity that occurs under your account.

Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe.
• You can cancel at any time via the Stripe customer portal linked in your settings.
• We do not offer refunds for months that have already been billed and used. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of the content you submit and of the courses generated from it. CourseAI does not claim any rights to your content or your generated courses. We only process them to provide the service to you.

Disclaimer

CourseAI uses AI models to generate course material. AI output may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. The service is provided for educational purposes only and should not be relied on for professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CourseAI and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of registration. The specific jurisdiction and applicable court will be confirmed in writing on request at support@courseai.app. Both parties will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith via email before pursuing legal action.
